Meet the Team

Neil Grimshaw
BA(HONS) FCII
As co-owner of Ravenhall Risk Solutions, Neil supports the Rural Team and ensures that all client’s needs are being met. Neil ensures that he stays up to date with all insurers, policies and changes which may have an impact on the team or the wider business. Neil has 3 children who all enjoy riding horses and being outdoors.

James Daly
ACII
Alongside Neil, James oversees the day to day business responsibilities and manages his own clients. As co-owner, James is a problem solver and enjoys ensuring that all clients are happy and they have the right policy in place for their business. When he’s not at work, James enjoys cycling, being outdoors and taking walks with his family.

Nathalie Cross
CERT CII
Nathalie is very active in the equestrian world. As a Rural Account Executive, not only does Nathalie speak with equestrian business owners about their policy and renewal, but she also understands their needs, challenges, and pain points.
Nathalie breeds Shire horses and visits shows across the UK. As well as her many horses, Nat has a pet cat called Nancy, a
Puppy called Nellie and a rescued pet pig called Bowie!

Julia Whinn
CERT CII
Within her role as a Rural Account Manager, Julia supports sub-brokers, insurers, clients and assists with claims. Julia is Cert CII qualified and has been around horses most of her life. Being part of the Rural Team means that Julia cans speak with business owners about a common passion and something that also means a lot to her. At the moment, she has a Sport Horse called Poppy and a pet parrot called Peanut!

Rachel Kayser
Rachel has worked in the leisure industry for 13 years, enjoys being around horses, spending time outdoors and with her black Labrador Alfie. Within Rachel’s role and as a part of the Rural team, she supports Julia and Nathalie with accounts, admin and liaising with clients.
In Rachel’s spare time, you’ll probably find her in the gym as she’s a competitive bodybuilder.

Leonie ward
Leonie supports the Rural team with all new and existing customer queries. As a horse rider and owner herself, Leonie spends a lot of her free time with horse Kasey.
While studying for her CII qualifications, Leonie hopes to learn more about the insurance industry and the equestrian clients the team work with.
